Chelsea Green Shows Off Brutal Wrist Injury

Chelsea Green

IMPACT Wrestling star Chelsea Green has shown off the extent of her latest arm injury after she was hurt during a match at Sacrifice.

At Sacrifice Chelsea Green faced longtime friend Deonna Purrazzo in a one-on-one match for Purrazzo’s Ring Of Honor Women’s Championship. During the bout, the referee was forced to throw up the ‘X’ symbol to indicate that Green was legitimately hurt.

Shortly after, Purrazzo trapped Chelsea Green in her Fujiwara Armbar to win the match and retain her championship.

Following that Chelsea Green took to social media to confirm that she has once again suffered a wrist injury which will see her miss time in the ring. During Green’s time in WWE, the former Knockouts Champion sustained two broken wrists – one in her debut TV match for NXT and one in her debut match on SmackDown, which ended up being her last match in the company.

IMPACT Wrestling confirmed Green’s injury on social media, indicating that the star has suffered a fractured left radius but will not require surgery:

“Chelsea Green suffered an arm injury Saturday evening at Sacrifice in Louisville, KY. After seeking emergency medical attention, it was determined Chelsea has fractured her left radius. She will forego surgery and will undergo extensive physical therapy while casted.”

Chelsea Green shared a later update on social media, showing off the x-ray where you can clearly see the break in her wrist bone.

Green seems bullish despite her injury indicating on Twitter that she still intends to compete at the NWA’s Crockett Cup show where she is scheduled to face Kamille and Kylie Rae in a Three-Way Dance for the NWA Women’s Worlds Championship.
