Chelsea Green has addressed her new WWE title win.

On the 14th December edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, Chelsea Green created history when she defeated Michin, to win the first-ever Women’s United States Championship. After weeks of battles and build-up, Green overcame all odds to claim the gold.

Soon enough after victory, in a backstage interview, the new champion addressed her title win. Speaking with Bryan Saxton, Green claimed that she has worked her entire life to become successful.

Well, Brian, I always knew this was going to happen, so I know you’re surprised, and that’s so cute, but I’m not. I’ve been doing this for 10 years. I worked my entire life to be an overnight success, and this is my time. This is my night, red, white, and Green.

Speaking further, she claimed:

Duh.’ I’m in the history books where I belong. I should have been there 3 years ago, but I was released. I should have been there in 2015, but I wasn’t hired. So now is the time. Now is the freaking time!”

Planning to visit Disneyland as her Championship win celebration, she later also shared her intentions on social media.

Chelsea Green Received An Emotional Message From Husband Matt Cardona Ahead Of Her Title Match

Before Green’s title match on SNME, her husband, Matt Cardona, had an emotional message ready. Sharing his support on X(Twitter), he wrote:

Win, lose, or draw… I’m beyond pride of my wife. But… CHELSEA OR RIOT!”

Keeping her husband’s wishes and making him proud, Green and Cardona are now the first-ever couple to win the Men and Women’s US Championship.
