Chelsea Green was surprised by a key story beat for Money in the Bank.
Chelsea Green came within touching distance of winning the 2024 Money in the Bank Ladder match before Tiffany Stratton sent her crashing through tables at ringside to capture the coveted briefcase.
During the bout, Michael Cole mentioned an additional challenge faced by Green, saying that the star had a fear of heights she had to overcome to scale the ladder.
During an appearance on The Masked Man Show, Green revealed that she didn’t know that was going to be part of the story until her father told her he was surprised to learn about her fear.
“Ken Doane and Petey Williams, they are..I owe everything to them. They are me. I am them. When they come up with things for me, it is so me. When I come up with crazy ideas, they are the ones that are like, ‘Yes.’ They helped produce that match and they were the ones that told the story.
“I actually did not tell commentary anything. I was so caught up in the day and the match and how much is going on backstage at Money in the Bank. They told commentary what the story was. I did not know until my dad texted me and said, ‘I didn’t know you were afraid of heights.’ The way the pieces came together was unbelievable. We did not know we were telling that story. We kind of walked that story in that day.”

Chelsea Green Hopes WWE Rumour Is True
During the same interview, Chelsea Green admitted she is “hoping and praying” that WWE will introduce new titles for the women’s division. The star explained that more things to highlight the division can only be a good thing, and she believes the introduction of secondary titles is long overdue.
In a new update, Chelsea Green will be starring in an upcoming TV show.
