Charlotte Flair might be on her way back to WWE.
Last year in December, Flair suffered a serious injury during her match against Asuka on SmackDown. It has now been almost a year since The Queen has stepped foot inside the ring.
Flair underwent surgery in January 2024 and has since kept her fans updated on her recovery path. Often posting training videos and updates, the former champion has kept her fans aware of her situation.
Almost recovered and regularly training, Flair was recently captured training alongside an injured Kiana James, and multiple other major wrestlers from different promotions. Training at Shawn Spears and Tyler Breeze’s Florida-based wrestling school Flatbacks, an image from Flair’s recent visit was shared on Instagram.
Flair shared a rigorous training session with TNA’s Lei Ying Lee (fka Xia Li), Valentina Rossi, Jadon Jett, Carolina Cruz, Spears, Breeze, and Kiana James. Since the WWE draft earlier this year, James has not been seen on television.
With only two matches to her name on the main roster, Kiana James is reportedly recovering from a leg injury. Both Flair and James are currently working on improving their physical condition but have no confirmed timeline set for their return.
Early WrestleMania 41 Plans For Charlotte Flair
Speaking on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass Q and A show, WrestleVotes possibly revealed the early WrestleMania 41 plans set for Charlotte Flair while addressing the plans for a Bianca Belair versus Jade Cargill feud.
Another WrestleMania question, that’s a good one. I haven’t heard too much…about potential women’s matches at WrestleMania. I do know that Charlotte Flair is going to be in the fold and at the top of any women’s wrestling card that they present for WrestleMania.”
