“There’s No One Better Than Her In The Ring” – Charlotte Flair Praises Top Raw Star

Charlotte Flair makes her entrance

Charlotte Flair has heaped praise on one of WWE Raw’s top stars, claiming there is nobody better than her in the ring.

In becoming a 12-time Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair has wrestled the best WWE has to offer. From her heated rivalry with Becky Lynch to seminal matches with the likes of Sasha Banks, Bianca Belair, and Bayley, The Queen has taken on all-comers.

However, there is one woman she has singled out for praise and that is the star she defeated at WrestleMania 34, Asuka.

Speaking about the match on ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions, Charlotte Flair said that The Empress of Tomorrow had nothing to prove, whereas she felt she did.

“She had nothing to prove, though. I did. Well, because she had wrestled all over the world, had the longest streak, having her background from Japan and what she had done. She didn’t have anything to prove I did.

“I mean, I know that maybe that’s the wrong way to think about it because here she is coming from NXT, and NXT isn’t the main roster and I was the champion, but that’s how I went into the match.

“I don’t know how long (she had been in the business) but she had made a name in Japan for herself. That’s why I think NXT brought her over. But no one’s better than her – in the ring, fundamentally.”

Charlotte also believes that WWE should give Asuka a “mean mouthpiece” and send her on a killer streak in the company.

“And we’ve never even really had a story, it’s just always been iron sharpens iron. I’ve always said give her like a really mean mouthpiece, put her on a straight killer streak.”

During the interview, Charlotte also opened up about going into a major PPV match with no build and said she wants to “evolve” before making her return to WWE.
