Charlotte Flair has discussed her relationship with Becky Lynch and admits that despite how close they were they no longer “see eye-to-eye.”
Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch came through the ranks together in NXT onto the main stage of WWE as two members of the noted Four Horsewomen group along with Sasha Banks and Bayley.
The two women famously clashed during an ill-fated title exchange segment on SmackDown back in 2021 with Becky Lynch going on to make her feelings clear as she called The Queen an “a**hole.”
Joining Stone Cold Steve Austin on his Broken Skull Sessions, Charlotte Flair lifted the lid on her current relationship with Lynch:
“You have two women who want to be the best. There’s no other way to put it. I want to be the best. She wants to be the best. Natural courses of life. She got married and had a baby. I met Manny [Andrade El Idolo] on the road. Maybe we were each other’s crutches at one point.”
“But now, she wants to be the best. I want to be the best. You have two alphas who don’t see eye-to-eye. We grew up together on TV, and you see that. People didn’t know how close we were.”
During her appearance on the show, Charlotte Flair also discussed her thoughts on Sasha Banks walking out on WWE.
