When the question arises of who is the greatest WWE Superstar today, Charlotte Flair’s name is often among the answers given. ‘The Queen’, now nearing a decade on from her in-ring debut, has held a staggering sixteen championships throughout her career. Needless to say, she’s both a Triple Crown and Grand Slam Champion as a result.
With this legacy, Charlotte Flair is perceived as one of the greatest performers of all-time. It’s a statement hard to fight back against; with the array of title victories, premium live event headline spots, Royal Rumble victory, and official WWE Match of the Year award, her body of work speaks for itself.
WWE Hall Of Famer Refers To Charlotte Flair As “The Best Wrestler”
Speaking on his To Be The Man podcast, two-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair firmly believes his daughter is one of the best to ever lace a pair of boots. ‘The Nature Boy’ added that he believes Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair is a headliner “in itself”:
“Absolutely, and probably in the best shape of her life. I think it’s probably a mutual decision between her and the company as to when she comes back. It’ll be I would assume under the perfect circumstance. She’s the best wrestler, she’s the greatest female wrestler of all time. Like I said before, to have two legit world-class athletes. I mean, yeah, you could write the story itself. NCAA track star you know, strength, coordination, athleticism. Bianca Belair [vs.] Charlotte flair. It’s a man event in itself.”
Charlotte Flair hasn’t competed since she dropped the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Ronda Rousey in an I Quit match at WrestleMania Backlash. During her time away, which is reportedly for “personal reasons”, Flair tied the knot with AEW’s Andrade El Idolo. The one-time NXT Champion has since returned to and was subsequently removed from AEW programming.
