Charlotte Flair Faces Jersey Shore Star In American Cornhole League

Charlotte Flair is currently absent from WWE, but she took part in a different type of competition during her hiatus.

This past weekend, Flair took part in the American Cornhole League’s third Johnsonville SuperHole Series IV preliminary in Miami, FL, teaming with ACL pro Bret Guy. In round one, she defeated Real Housewives of Miami star Marysol Patton, who teamed with ACL pro Whittney Martinez.

Flair’s victory over Patton earned her a spot in the final round, where she faced Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino, who also recently competed on Dancing with the Stars. Guadagnino and ACL pro Jeremy Schermerhorn were victorious in the final round.

Flair’s experience as a WWE Superstar also qualified her to judge an entrance contest between Marysol Patton, Vinny Guadagnino, and food influencer FOODGOD. Despite coming up short against Flair in the preliminary, Patton was victorious in the entrance competition.

Charlotte Flair Believes Her WWE Absence Is Good For Her Mindset

Flair was absent from WWE for a good part of 2022, disappearing from television following her SmackDown Women’s Championship loss to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash in May. She wouldn’t make her return until the following December, making a shocking appearance on the December 30th episode to defeat Rousey and become champion once again.

Flair lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Rhea Ripley on night one of WrestleMania 39, and it was soon reported that she was taking another break from WWE.

Speaking in an interview with The Boardroom, Flair explained why taking time away is both a blessing and a curse, but ultimately believes it’s good for her mental health.

“For me, I went from having never any off-days to getting injured last year after WrestleMania and being off for seven months, and then now off again for a couple weeks for something that I needed to take care of, so it’s a blessing and a curse. Like, no one wants to be injured, but having that first time off for that extended amount of time, I think was definitely healthy for my mindset.”
