The rumours of the demise of the relationship between Charlotte Flair and Andrade appear to have been greatly exaggerated as the couple share a Christmas message with fans.
Flair and Andrade had reportedly begun their relationship in early 2019 going on to become engaged on New Year’s Day 2020. While Charlotte Flair maintained her level of success in WWE since then, Andrade somewhat floundered before leaving the company in March 2021.
Just three months later Andrade El Idolo made his debut in AEW and with Jose The Assistant by his side he has competed in some high-profile matches including the recent fiery Atlanta Street Fight with Cody Rhodes on AEW Dynamite.
Andrade had previously stated that he wanted to make his AEW run a family affair and was keen for Charlotte Flair to one day join him in the company but that may no longer be the case.
It had been widely reported in the wrestling media early in December that the couple had called off their engagement and went their separate ways but that appears not to be the case.
The couple sent out a message on social media wishing their followers a Merry Christmas and showing them enjoying the festive season in a pool with a well-stocked bar.
Charlotte Flair was in action for WWE at a live event in Tampa, Florida on Boxing Day where she retained her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks.
