Charlie Haas Undergoes Incredible Transformation, Now In “Best Shape Of Life”

Team Angle - Kurt Angle, Charlie Haas, Shelton Benjamin

Former WWE Superstar Charlie Haas has shared photos of his incredible physical transformation, saying he’s now in the best shape of his life.

Back in December 2020, a video of Haas emerged that had fans of the Team Angle star concerned, but Haas candidly revealed that he had dropped the weight in order to compete at a certain weight class in amateur wrestling, and discussed how he’d just got “back on his feet” after a tough divorce in his “mini shoot interview” with The Hannibal TV.

“I’ve been out of the business about two years, went through a divorce, which was really tough for me and the kids.”

Just 11 months on, and Haas had a message for his “haters” – saying he isn’t done yet while calling out former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho.

The comments were flooded with well-wishers saying it’s great to see Charlie Haas doing well again, and tagging Tony Khan to try fulfil the request.

Last year, Haas revealed that he was running a youth wrestling program – and very successfully too. Haas had revealed he was an amateur wrestler himself too, citing that as the reason for his weight loss.

“I’m back on my feet. I run a youth wrestling program out of Allen, Texas. Allen High School. They’re going for their 13th straight State title. They’re a top ten team in the country. I run the youth program that pushes all those kids into that program. I’m in the room everyday, wrestling, conditioning with kids from anywhere from kindergarten all the way up to high school, to college kids and drop-bys. I’m actually wrestling amateur, and wrestling the way I did when I was in college. So, in order for me do that, I had to drop weight, I’m at 215 right now. It’s a different look, but it fits me, so I’m happy where I’m at.”

Charlie Haas has a professional wrestler for 25 years, wrestling in WWE between 2000-2005 and again from 2006-2010. The 49-year-old is best-known for his run alongside Kurt Angle and Shelton Benjamin, but has also wrestled in Ring of Honor and across the global independent scene. While in WWE, Haas won the WWE Tag Team Championships three times.

Haas also took to Twitter to share images of him wearing his brother’s Seton Hall University singlet, saying he was “feeling good” while calling out Chris Jericho again – saying he wants the “self-proclaimed GOAT” in the post.
