Veteran WWE official Charles Robinson found himself on the wrong side of an accidental shot from a WWE Superstar at a recent live show.
At a WWE live event in Bakersfield, California fans were treated to a bout between Drew McIntyre and The New Day taking on the Imperium trio of Intercontinental Champion Gunther, Ludwig Kaiser, and Giovanni Vinci.
The match was won by McIntyre, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston but referee Charles Robinson found himself on the wrong side of Ludwig Kaiser’s boot as seen in a video shared by the official on social media. Robinson also wrote:
“Yes this happened at @wwe n Bakersfield last night. @DMcIntyreWWE is a beast and @wwe_kaiser you have a big hard foot and it hurt my face!”

Drew McIntyre most recently faced Solo Sikoa on WWE television following his loss to Roman Reigns at Clash at the Castle in Cardiff, Wales.
It was also at Clash at the Castle that Giovanni Vinci – the former Fabian Aichner – reunited with his Imperium on the main roster.
The New Day recently missed out on a chance to challenge long-time rivals The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championship as they lost a Fatal Four-Way match to the Brawling Brutes duo of Ridge Holland and Butch.
