A new report has claimed that there are changes coming to the Monday Night Raw commentary team with other changes taking place on SmackDown.
The current three-man commentary team has been in place on Raw since May 2021. Corey Graves has been part of the red brand April 2021 after a spell on SmackDown, while Byron Saxton has been in position since January 2020. The final piece of the jigsaw was installed in May 2021 when Jimmy Smith was hired as lead play-by-play announcer.
Smith replaced Adnan Virk who had been in the role for just a month.
However, a new report has claimed that change could be on the way. The report from Wrestle Votes states that there will be a “commentary change” on October 10th, with other small changes set to take place on SmackDown. It is unclear as to what these changes might be.
“I’m told to expect a commentary change on RAW with the season premiere this coming week. Other minor aspects of both shows are also set to get altered as well.”
