Changes Coming To WWE Performance Center

Triple H at WWE NXT Performance Center

The WWE Performance Centre is set for some big changes.

WWE first opened its state-of-the-art performance centre in 2013 in Orlando, Florida. The facility is used as a training ground for up-and-coming stars. It contains seven training rings, strength and conditioning equipment, and a production centre that helps future stars prepare for television.

The Performance Centre has also been the home of NXT since 2020 when its main studio was used to create the Capitol Wrestling Centre, which was used until September 2021. At that time, the look of the arena was overhauled to usher in the NXT 2.0 era, and it has remained the same ever since.

However, according to Fightful Select, that could be about to change. September 24th marked the final NXT show to be aired on USA Network as the developmental brand is set to debut on the CW Network on October 1st.

To mark the change in network, NXT is going on the road for two weeks, with the October 1st show taking place in Rosemont, Illinois while the destination for October 8th is Chesterfield, Missouri.

According to Fightful, WWE plans to use the time away to make changes at the Performance Centre. The current NXT set is said to have already been taken down, although it is unclear if it is to be completely redone or just updated.

It has also previously been reported that the NXT logo will see a redesign, with the yellow being removed and a more “straightforward” presentation being used instead.

As well as the appearance of the show changing, Shawn Michaels has promised “big, big surprises” are coming to the NXT roster.

WWE Looking To Make Impact With NXT Debut On The CW

CM Punk will be part of NXT’s debut on The CW, serving as the special guest referee when Ethan Page defends the NXT Title against Trick Williams.

The show will also feature Jade Cargill, Bianca Belair, and The Miz as WWE stacks the card for the first episode on the new network.
