A huge championship match with a twist has been scheduled for the September 13th edition of NXT 2.0!

At NXT Worlds Collide Pretty Deadly became the Unified NXT Tag Team Champions. The duo saw off NXT UK Tag Team Champions Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs, Gallus, and the NXT Tag Team Champions the Creed Brothers.

Not that the win was without controversy. As the match reached it’s conclusion, Jensen and Briggs were brawling with Gallus despite being eliminated. The chaos got all of the way to ringside with the referee being taken out.

At this Damon Kemp of the Diamond Mine turned on the Creed Brothers smashing Julius with a chair, leaving the way clear for Pretty Deadly to claim the win.

On the September 6th episode of NXT 2.0 Kemp revelled in his actions at Worlds Collide, confirming that he was also the man who attacked Diamond Mine leader Roderick Strong in the parking lot ahead of the event. Later in the show, an irate Creed Brothers were being interviewed backstage when they were interrupted by their long-time rivals Pretty Deadly.

The new Tag Team Champions extended a challenge to the Creed’s giving them an opportunity to win their titles back. In an interesting twist, Pretty Deadly revealed that the WWE Universe will decide the stipulation for the match.

Elsewhere on the show, Doudrop & Nikki A.S.H. defeated Toxic Attraction, JD McDonagh saw off Wes Lee and Meiko Satomura overcame Roxanne Perez who was attacked by Cora Jade after the match.
