Chad Gable’s WWE Contract Expiration Date Confirmed

Chad Gable's WWE Contract Expiation Date Confirmed

Chad Gable could become a free agent in a matter of days if a new deal is not signed.

With many top WWE stars signing new contracts back in 2019 or 2021, all of those deals are set to expire in 2024. Although multiple wrestlers such as Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes and Charlotte Flair have all signed lucrative new deals, a number of stars are reportedly just days away from their contracts expiring.

On May 30th, news broke via Fightful Select that Gable was approaching the end of his contract with the term used being “late next week.” Speaking on the Backstage Report podcast, Sean Ross Sapp stated that the former Tag Team Champion’s contract will expire on Friday, June 7th and is expected to receive offers from both companies should he become a free agent:

“Chad Gable’s contract is up Friday. This upcoming Friday. He is factored huge into WWE plans and, thus far, does not have a new contract. He’s expected to get offers from both companies if he hits that area. I don’t know if WWE made him an official offer. Based on what other people I have heard they have made offers on I would be surprised if they didn’t. That’s one to monitor. He’s got an awful lot of leverage right now.”

Another Raw star is also approaching the end of their contract as it is set to expire in the summer.

Chad Gable Discusses New Character

Frustrated that he was unable to defeat Sami Zayn and become the new Intercontinental Champion, Gable snapped and showed his more vicious side both to his opponents and to his fellow Alpha Academy members. Addressing the recent shift in character, Gable admitted that it is much easier to be hated.

Gable will be a part of WWE Clash at the Castle, which takes place after his current contract expires.
