Is this YouTuber heading toward WWE?

For the past few years, World Wrestling Entertainment has worked closely with social media influencers, including YouTubers and streamers, resulting in a much larger audience segment for the promotion. With names such as Logan Paul, KSI, and IShowSpeed becoming synonymous with the promotion, another popular British YouTuber recently teased his appearance.

Weller has started wrestling training as the Road To WrestleMania continues. The 29-year-old YouTuber mostly expanded his online fanbase by producing WWE-related videos on YouTube.

He was recently involved in the Sidemen charity football match, and even took a suplex from Logan Paul during the match. Recently, he had expressed his interest in following Paul’s footsteps, and uploaded an image of himself training on social media. Weller wrote:

“The road to Wrestlemania begins… My first wrestling class .”

While Weller also wants to begin in the Independent circuit before hustling his way into WWE, Triple H once removed him from a WrestleMania show.

Triple H Once Kicked Joe Weller Out Of A WWE WrestleMania Show

Speaking with Logan Paul on his Impaulsive podcast, Joe Weller recalled an unfortunate incident in which Triple H kicked him out of a WrestleMania show.

“So I went to a WrestleMania, Paul Heyman was like, ‘I love your video’, that swimming pool one, he was like ‘Come along, let’s make another one and I’ll get you in at WrestleMania, you can stay in the WWE hotel.’

F*cking Triple H kicked me out. He was like, ‘Who’s this f*cking YouTuber? Get out of here’. They were so not open to the YouTube stuff back then. I think he was still wrestling, but it was very much like, ‘Who the f*ck is this YouTuber?’ There was no embracing of it back at that point. But Paul Heyman got it and we made a video, he made Brock Lesnar say, ‘F*ck you Joe’ and it was sick. I often think, imagine what the social media world is doing right now, imagine if that was 5 years before, what could have been possible.”
