Cassie Lee Announces The IInspiration Tour In Stunning Fashion

Cassie Lee Jessie McKay

Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay may have previously been IIconic but the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions are set to bring IInspiration back to pro wrestling.

The former Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were part of the group of talents released from WWE on April 15th, 2021. Along with the likes of Mickie James and former United States Champion Kalisto, The IIconics were let go from their contracts which caused the women some difficulty in the interim.

They have discussed their inability to earn money following their WWE release due to visa issues as both are Australian nationals.

Since their release, Lee and McKay have started their own podcast called Off Her Chops while rumours as to their next move in the wrestling world have run wild.

Now there seems to be an answer of sorts as Cassie Lee has taken to social media to post a photo of the two women now known as The IInspiration, saying that dates and locations will be announced soon:

“Finally, IInspiration returns to professional wrestling. Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay present The IInspiration”

“Tour Dates and cities to be announced soon”

The high school friends build quite a career for themselves in WWE, coming through the ranks of NXT where they first paired together on-screen as The Iconic Duo. On debuting on the main roster The IIconics brought their unique brand of comedy and gained popularity despite ostensibly being villains.

The highpoint of the duo’s WWE careers undoubtedly came at WrestleMania 35 in MetLife Stadium when The IIconics captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship from inaugural champions Sasha Banks and Bayley.

The pair were forced to disband their team in the summer of 2020 following a defeat to Liv Morgan and Ruby Riott – who has also since been released by the company. Both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce began to be featured less by the company although Kay did compete at WrestleMania 37 teaming up with Carmella.
