Carlito is already geared up for his next appearance.
Last week, the wrestling world suffered a shock when the promotion suddenly released former champions R-Truth and Carlito. In two social media posts written by Truth and Carlito, it was revealed that the promotion had decided not to renew the contracts of the two stars. However, later at Money in the Bank 2025, R-Truth made his shocking return, while The Caribbean Bad Apple is already gearing up for his next appearance outside WWE.
In a recent post uploaded on X(Twitter) by WrestleCon, the 46-year-old’s next appearance was announced. The former Intercontinental Champion has been scheduled for WrestleCon during the SummerSlam weekend. He will be signing autographs and taking photos on Friday, August 1 (2 PM–6 PM), and Saturday, August 2 (10 AM–2 PM) at the Newark Liberty International Airport Marriott.
Prior to his release, he was a part of the Judgment Day faction on Raw, and he quietly disappeared from televised appearances.
WrestleCon’s lineup also includes Sting, Okada, Saraya, Rob Van Dam, The Hardy Boyz, and more.
Triple H Was Reportedly The Reason Behind R-Truth And Carlito’s Exit
Earlier last week, during an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer shared his reaction to Carlito and R-Truth’s recent exits, and claimed that Triple H was reason behind their exits.
“There’s numbers. They’re looking at the numbers, and they’re looking at how many do we have to cut, or how much money do we have to cut. And those were the picks. Those were the [Paul “Triple H”] Levesque picks, and that’s what it is.”
