Former WWE star Carlito has opened up on his wrestling future.
On June 1st, R-Truth, Carlito, and Sarah Rowe were let go by World Wrestling Entertainment after their contracts were not extended. While Truth later made his return at Money in the Bank 2025, the other two stars continued their absence.
Now, almost two weeks later, the former Judgment Day member has shared a major update on his immediate wrestling future. Sharing a post on Instagram, the ex-United States Champion declared his free-agency.

The Caribbean Bad Apple is now officially a free agent and available to be booked for other promotions. Following a lengthy and memorable run, the former tag-team champion has now officially bid adieu to the promotion. Soon after his exit, he also won the WWC Puerto Rico Championship.Carlito is now also scheduled to appear for WrestleCon during the SummerSlam weekend.
Triple H Was Named The Reason Behind R-Truth And Carlito’s Releases
A few days ago, during an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer opened up on R-Truth and Carlito’s exit, and named Triple H as the person behind those exits.
“There’s numbers. They’re looking at the numbers, and they’re looking at how many do we have to cut, or how much money do we have to cut. And those were the picks. Those were the [Paul “Triple H”] Levesque picks, and that’s what it is.”
