Cardi B responded to an AEW segment that featured a fellow female rap sensation!
At AEW Dynamite Grand Slam, Jade Cargill and the Baddies were interviewed by Tony Schiavone, who informed them that Diamante, who is set to face Cargill on Rampage, would be bringing someone with her. However, Cargill cut Schiavone off with her customary line of “Cut the sh*t” before declaring that she is That B*tch and that she would go after Toni Storm’s AEW Women’s Championship on her time as she is focused on the TBS Championship for now.
Diamante entered the scene, revealing that she had brought with her none other than rap sensation and the “baddest b*tch” Trina, which elicited a shocked and somewhat panicked reaction from the TBS Champion. Diamante said that Trina will be accompanying her on Rampage, and when Cargill told the rap star that she’d see her there, Trina responded with “You see me now.”

This is far from the first time Cardi B has made her love of professional wrestling known as she name-dropped Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka in her song Hot Sh*t earlier this year. She’s also revealed in the past that her favorite wresting theme belongs to Eddie Guerrero, and expressed her admiration for Edge and Lita as a “sexy a** couple.”
While it’s unclear if Cardi B has aspirations to step inside the squared circle herself, both Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair have expressed interest in working with the WAP rapper in WWE if she were open to making a celebrity appearance.
