Former WWE Women’s Champion Candice Michelle has revealed which WWE legend she would choose to induct her into the WWE Hall of Fame that if she had the choice.
A five year veteran with World Wrestling Entertainment from 2004-2009, Michelle graduated from a Raw Diva Search contestant to Women’s Champion when she overturned Melina at WWE Vengeance: Night of Champions on June 24, 2007. However, following a bitter feud with ‘The Glamazon’ Beth Phoenix, Michelle soon dropped the strap to her rival at WWE No Mercy on October 7.
Her championship loss was followed by a string of injuries which included a grievance to her face that shelved the star for fourteen weeks and a shattered clavicle upon her return. However, despite a short return in the Autumn of 2008, the talent was released from WWE on June 19, 2009, after being drafted to SmackDown.
Now, Candice Michelle has joined The DropKick Podcast to talk about a possible WWE Hall of Fame honour and who she would like to induct her into the hallowed halls:
“I would want to be inducted by Hulk Hogan because the truth is that’s where it started for me. In my book, he’s arguably one of the most famous superstars of all time but that’s where my love for it began. I didn’t know that back then, you know? Every time I see him and his famous moves it’s like when the music hits, there’s something about it that lights up your insides and you couldn’t wait to see what happens. So, if I had an opportunity, and if he was willing, I would 100 percent pick him.”
Candice Michelle last appeared in WWE on the July 22, 2019, Monday Night Raw Reunion where she shockingly captured the WWE 24/7 Championship from Kelly Kelly. Minutes later, Michelle dropped the strap to Alundra Blayze.
