Fans started an online campaign as an attempt for WWE to utilize an ignored superstar.
One of the NXT stars that was drafted to the main roster last year was Carmelo Hayes. Other newly added NXT stars at the time were Bron Breakker, Tiffany Stratton, and Lyra Valkyria. While the others have since found success and have at least held a championship, the same can’t be said for the former North American Champion.
Although Carmelo Hayes was the first WWE Draft pick, he hasn’t been involved in any significant storylines or feuds despite having a notable following and entertaining matches. Due to the Stamford-based promotion’s continuous neglect of him, fans didn’t hold back in getting the attention of the Stamford-based promotion.
Fans Started #WeWantMelo In An Attempt For WWE To Utilize Carmelo Hayes Better
Due to fans perceiving that the Stamford-based promotion was neglecting Carmelo Hayes through his booking and lack of significant storylines, an online campaign called #WeWantMelo was started by fans, which has also trended in the United States already.
Several fans expressed that they wanted Carmelo Hayes and that the superstar should have been utilized better in the main roster after a fantastic and impressive run in NXT from 2021 to 2024.

It’s beyond time @Carmelo_WWE gets his dues on the main roster, coming from the run he was on in NXT and how hot the angle was become he was called up he should have been in the main event picture immediately. Nows the chance to get him there where he belongs #WeWantMelo
