Bully Ray Broken Skull Sessions

Bully Ray has confirmed that he’s going to be the next guest on the Broke Skull Sessions with Stone Cold Steve Austin.

Posting on social media, Bully Ray shared a photo of himself alongside Steve Austin on the set of the show. He captioned the photo “the one you’ve been waiting for.” At time of writing there has been no word on when the episode will be shown.

Former guests include, The Undertaker, Mick Foley, Randy Orton and Becky Lynch. It was during this appearance that Lynch opened up about her relationship with Charlotte Flair and the now infamous belt swap segment on SmackDown in October of 2021.

The most recent episode of the show featured Ron Simmons who dived into his life and career, while reflecting on his World Championship victory in 1992. In the process he became the first ever Black World Heavyweight Champion.

Bully Ray, also known as Bubba Ray Dudley began his career in 1991, making his debut in ECW in 1995 as part of the Dudley Family. D-Von Dudley arrived in the promotion the following year, and the pair eventually joined forces, reigning supreme over the ECW Tag Team division, winning the Tag Team Titles eight times.

The pair headed to WWE in 1999, going on to feature in some of the most iconic tag team matches of all time. The duo feuded with the Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian, often with their signature tables not too far away. This led to the first ever Tag Team Table Match at the 2000 Royal Rumble, a The Three-Way Ladder Match at WrestleMania 16, and the first ever TLC Match at SummerSlam in the same year.

However, it was the rematch, known as TLC II at WrestleMania X-Seven which is most fondly remembered.

Bubba Ray left WWE in 2005 along with D-Von and the pair headed to TNA, now known as IMPACT Wrestling. During this period the team won tag team gold on three occasions, before Bully Ray embarked on the most successful singles run of his career, winning the World Heavyweight Championship on two occasions.

After leaving TNA in 2013, Bubba Ray and D-Von appeared across the independent scene until 2015, where they returned to WWE. However, Ray switched to Ring of Honor in 2017, remaining with the company until April 2020.

Bully Ray was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame alongside D-Von in 2018, with the pair regarded as one of the most decorated tag teams in history. In the same year, Ray began hosting Busted Open Radio on Sirius XM.
