Bully Ray Responds To F*ck Bully Ray Chants At GCW Following Controversial Comments

Bully Ray

WWE Hall Of Famer Bully Ray has responded to expletive-laden chants directed at him following his contentious comments on Jon Moxley’s return to AEW.

At The WRLD on GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom, Jon Moxley defended his GCW Championship against former ROH Champion, Homicide. While what followed was as hard a hitting match as many expected, the fans in New York let Jon Moxley know where they stood in regards to Bully Ray’s recent comments about him.

It was announced in November that the former AEW World Champion was entering an alcohol inpatient treatment program. Moxley then missed the next two months of action before recently returning to a raucous reception on AEW Dynamite.

Moxley wowed on the microphone as he spoke from the heart before vowing to grab pro wrestling “by the balls.” However, Bully Ray had a slightly different take on Moxley’s return promo, saying that he wanted to hear an apology or some “accountability” from Moxley towards the fans.

The fans in New York were keen to let Moxley know exactly where they stood and that no apology was necessary as they bathed the GCW Champion in “f*ck Bully Ray chants.” Now the tag team legend has responded to the chants, albeit with his tongue firmly in his cheek as he wrote on social media:

“I knew my GCW faithful fans in NYC would never let me down. Especially in MY building. Music to my ears!!”

Former WWE broadcaster and Jon Moxley’s wife Renee Paquette and WWE Superstar Paige also recently shared their thoughts on Bully Ray’s comments, with neither very impressed.
