Bully Ray Praises These AEW Stars As Co-MVP’s Of Revolution: “5 Stars Does Not Do It Justice”

Bully Ray on Busted Open Radio

Bully Ray has high praise for two AEW stars who put on a fantastic performance at Revolution.

At AEW Revolution, Toni Storm and Mariah May saw their months-long animosity come to a head in a brutal falls count anywhere match. In the end, Storm was victorious in retaining her AEW Women’s Championship, but not before being bloodied in the process.

The match has received high praise from fans and critics alike, with many wondering why it wasn’t the main event of the show. Tony Khan addressed the decision not to have the women main event at the post-Revolution press conference, explaining why he felt Jon Moxley vs. Adam Copeland should go on last.

Speaking on a recent edition of Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray added to the praise for Storm and May, calling them the “co-MVP’s” of the event.

“I just want to say Mariah May, Toni Storm, bravo ladies. Bravo to the both of you, that was an incredible effort. It was fun to watch, it was above and beyond probably what people expected, your willingness to go out there and put your bodies on the line for the entertainment of the fans.”

“Match Of The Night” – Bully Ray

Continuing, the WWE Hall of Famer made it clear that he saw the AEW Women’s Title match as match of the night on a stacked card.

“Five stars does not do it justice, nor would I give you five stars, but from one of your fellow pro wrestlers, from one of the people that you could share a locker room with and be on the road with, two thumbs up from one of the boys…to me, Toni Storm and Mariah May, the co-MVPs of Revolution. That match, match of the night.”
