Bully Ray On The “Only Way” To Begin Roman Reigns & The Rock Feud

Roman Reigns The Rock

Bully Ray has broken down the only way that he believes that the long-awaited storyline between Roman Reigns and The Rock can begin.

Every since Roman Reigns took his spot as the leader of The Bloodline and at the top of WWE, fans have been calling out for a monster showdown against his cousin, and WWE legend, The Rock.

During his WWE career, Reigns has beaten everyone there is to beat, and is currently in the midst of the longest World Championship reign in the modern era. However, one man he has never shared the ring with is The Great One.

For a number of months it has been suggested that the pair could be set to meet in the main event of WrestleMania 39 in Claifornia. While The Rock also added fuel to the fire by referencing a match on his hit television series, Young Rock.

Casting his mind forwards to a potential storyline between The Brahma Bull and the Head of the Table, Bully Ray described how things could be kicked into gear. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, the tag team legend explained that a Royal Rumble return and victory would set the wheels in motion for a huge WrestleMania bout

“Rock comes back, wins the Rumble, gets his shot at ‘Mania. It’s pretty simple. Keep it simple, stupid. Slow and steady wins the race. Win the Rumble, build, build, build to ‘Mania. Yeah, I don’t see any other way.”

“And I would love to see the Rumble this year come down to some real heavy-hitters – maybe the last four in the ring [could be] The Rock, Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton – some real strong talent where it’s like, ‘Wow, anybody could win this one.’ Any one of these last three or four men could main event WrestleMania against Roman Reigns.

If The Rock’s calendar is free for the first quarter of 2023, hopefully the WWE is going to maximize that and milk everything that they can out of The Rock for a huge WrestleMania next year.”

It was recently reported that The Rock’s movie schedule is clear in early 2023, paving the way for one more stunning WWE comeback.
