Bully Ray Not Impressed By Recent NXT Call Up

Bully Ray

Bully Ray, a.k.a. Bubba Ray Dudley, is a thirty-year veteran who has wrestled all over the world. Additionally, he has served as a backstage hand in different companies and has played many other roles in the various promotions he has worked for.

He has managed to be very successful in the cut-throat world of wrestling, which is why his opinion carries quite a bit of weight.

Ray has never been shy about sharing his opinion about the good and bad in today’s wrestling world. And recently, he decided to share his thoughts on someone who has recently switched from NXT to the main roster.

Bully Ray shines spotlight on the difference between NXT and WWE’s main roster through Zoey Stark’s recent call-up

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray noted that Zoey Stark was getting over quite a bit in NXT, but when she switched over to the main roster, things started going in a different direction and she started losing momentum.

“In NXT, I really enjoyed Zoey Stark. So far, on the main roster, not so much. I feel that her promo and verbiage are extremely forced and that she’s trying to memorize her lines.

I didn’t feel the same way about her in NXT — I felt she was a lot more relaxed and going out there and letting it flow.

Now, is it because of the big spotlight of Monday Night Raw? Maybe she’s not used to someone from Gorilla telling her to do things? Not sure.

I go by the way things make me feel — the tone, inflection, volume, energy, and personality. I’m actually looking in Zoey’s eyes, and watching her memorize stuff.”
