Enzo Amore has shown he marches to the beat of his own drum, but Bully Ray believes that makes him valuable.
Speaking on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio, the WWE Hall Of Famer thinks the reason Amore, now going by Real1, is not signed to a mainstream wrestling promotion is due to his affection for going against the grain.
“I think the real reason Enzo doesn’t work for anybody is he cannot be controlled, and we live in an industry these days where they want to be able to control you at all times.”
Fellow ECW legend Tommy Dreamer agrees that Amore thinks differently than most. Dreamer compares Amore’s wrestling philosophy to MJF, who puts a heavier focus behind the microphone moreso than in the ring.
Bully Ray Thinks A Wrestling Company Would Benefit From Using Enzo Amore
Bully Ray added that Amore’s uncanny ability to speak on the microphone would help draw for any wrestling company that he is in.
“I personally think that if any company were to take a chance on him, he would do some decent numbers and some decent business for him.”
Amore is set to compete under the New Japan Pro-Wrestling banner this weekend in Philadelphia as The Realest One In The Room will be apart of the All-Star Junior Festival USA. Real1 was recently a major piece to Major League Wrestling as he got to show he’s still got it behind the stick. He had memorable feuds with Mance Warner and Microman before he parted ways with the promotion.
