The forbidden door has been blown open again with IMPACT Wrestling announcing a head-banging appearance from a member of Bullet Club on IMPACT on AXS TV.
El Phantasmo will appear on IMPACT’s weekly Thursday show as announced by the company on social media. The Bullet Club member is touted as a two-time Super J Cup winner, winning the event in 2019 and 2020.
Phantasmo debuted in New Japan Pro Wrestling in 2019, joining Bullet Club upon his arrival. In his first match in the company, he pinned the current IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay in a tag team bout. He continued the rivalry with Ospreay to the King Of Pro Wrestling event in October 2019 in a match for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title. Phantasmo missed out on the gold as Ospreay managed to defeat him in an incredible near-half-hour-long contest.
Gold was not out of reach for El Phantasmo in NJPW however. He has captured the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles twice. Each time partnering with fellow Bullet Club member Taiji Ishimori. Their first reign with the titles lasted over 200 days. Coming to an end at WrestleKingdom 14 in January 2020. The duo were bested by CHAOS’ Roppongi 3K.

There is no word yet as to what El Phantasmo will be doing at IMPACT. Or if he will be involved in a match. All eyes will surely be on if he comes across Bullet Club alumni The Good Brothers and the IMPACT World Champion Kenny Omega.
