Bryan Danielson Reveals Why He Always Wears Plain White T-Shirts In AEW

Bryan Danielson salutes the fans

Bryan Danielson has revealed why he always appears wearing a plain white t-shirt on AEW television.

When Bryan Danielson arrived in AEW at All Out in September, he did so sporting a new haircut, in a simple plain white t-shirt, appearing to be in the best shape of his life. As his time in the company has progressed Danielson’s white t-shirt and joggers outfit of choice has become something of a signature look.

Speaking in a new interview, Danielson has now revealed that the outfit is far from an accident.

Appearing as part of the Casual Conversations series with The Wrestling Classic, Danielson explained how he made a conscious decision to embrace the outfit, as he “doesn’t want to sell people things.”

“So AEW came up with a very nice American Dragon Is Back t-shirt. I think one of the things that has confused their merchandising people and also confused the WWE merchandising people is that I don’t wanna sell people things. So it’s a choice and it also makes my life simpler in the sense of like I don’t have to worry what I’m going to wear to TV right so a white shirt and some joggers.

There’s Steve Jobs who was infamous for he would just do the black turtleneck and he didn’t have to worry. I don’t wanna waste my time thinking about what I’m going to wear. Anyways, there’s a certain aspect of that but part of my service is this idea of how we can benefit the planet and all that kind of stuff. One of the things that is hard for me is to sell people stuff.”

Since arriving in AEW, Bryan Danielson has remained undefeated, earning himself a shot at the AEW World Championship in the process. Since pinning Miro to become number one contender at Full Gear, the American Dragon has made it his mission to march his way through the Dark Order to get to champion “Hangman” Adam Page.

On the most recent episode of Dynamite Danielson made good on his latest promise by defeating Colt Cobana, knocking out two of his rivals’ teeth in the process.
