After reports suggested that Bryan Danielson may miss AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, it has been announced that the star will address his future on Dynamite.
Bryan Danielson hasn’t wrestled since Double or Nothing on May 29th due to an undisclosed injury. While it was initially reported that he would be back in action quickly, he’s yet to return to the ring.
Furthermore, Danielson recently missed a meet and greet session, as he was unable to fly due to the injury. Naturally, this has thrown major doubt in the star’s availability for the huge AEW x NJPW super-show Forbidden Door. It has long been teased that Danielson would be facing Zack Sabre Jr at the event.
Speaking at New Japan’s recent Dominion event, the multi-time Tag Team Champion challenged Bryan Danielson to take a break from playing golf at the “Blackpool Country Club” to face him in the ring.
“Have you got time to take out of your busy schedule golfing with the Blackpool Country Club to find out who the best wrestler in the world is?”
AEW President Tony Khan has now announced that Danielson will be appearing on the June 22nd edition of Dynamite to address his status for Forbidden Door. The American Dragon is also scheduled to team with Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz at Blood and Guts on June 29th, a subject that will also be on Wednesday’s agenda.

Also scheduled for Dynamite, Hiroshi Tanahashi will make his AEW in-ring debut when he teams with John Moxley to take on Chris Jericho and Lance Archer.
