Bryan Danielson On Younger Talent – “I’ll Kick Their F*cking Heads In”

Bryan Danielson

Bryan Danielson has not come to All Elite Wrestling to be Mr. Nice Guy in the locker room as he put all the talent on notice after his shocking debut at All Out.

Following the main event of All Out that saw Kenny Omega defeat Christian Cage to retain his AEW World Championship, The Elite couldn’t help themselves from continuing their assault on Cage. This brought out Jurassic Express to attempt a save but they were overcome by the numbers game. This left Omega free to tell the world that anybody that could potentially take his title away were not there, already tired, or dead. The lights went out and when they returned Adam Cole made his way to the ring in a stunning surprise.

Cole looked to first confront The Elite before he kicked Jungle Boy in the head, signalling his intention to reunite with his former Bullet Club comrades. After the former NXT Champion gave everyone a rendition of ‘Storytime with Adam Cole [Bay Bay!],’ Omega looked to round off the night in his trademark style when he was interrupted once again, this time by Bryan Danielson.

With the NOW Arena coming unglued Danielson stood alongside Cage and Jurassic Express as they cleared the ring of The Elite. Danielson delivered his first running knee in AEW, catching Nick Jackson with a picture-perfect knee to the face.

After the show, Danielson took part in the post-show media scrum where he discussed part of the reason he decided to head for new pastures in AEW, and why he might be taking a slightly different tack when it comes to the younger talent than CM Punk:

“When you have a wife and kids, your life becomes a little bit tame. I love it, but it’s a little bit tame. I need one part of my life that’s a little bit wild, right? You see these guys doing these crazy things and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, can I do that?’ Yes, I can. I don’t care. Like, I’m going to go out there and I’m going to show everybody here what ‘elite’ really looks like this, this is what ‘elite’ looks like. I’m not, you know, Punk can come in and said like,’ Oh, I want to help the young guys and all that kind of stuff.’ Nah man, I’m going to kick their f*cking head in.”
