Bryan Danielson Named “Greatest Of All Time” Ahead Of AEW All In Main-Event Match

Future Plans For Bryan Danielson Storyline In AEW

AEW wrestler Bryan Danielson has been named the greatest of all time by his upcoming opponent.

Danielson is scheduled to take on Swerve Strickland at All In 2024 in the main-event of the PPV. On the July 10th episode of Dynamite, Danielson defeated Adam ‘Hangman’ Page to earn a shot at the AEW World Championship.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated, Strickland opened up on his match with the former WWE Heavyweight Champion and acknowledged his greatness. He stated:

Bryan’s not just experienced, he’s the greatest of all time. That’s who I’m going up against. A first ballot Hall of Famer. I’ve never faced anyone like him. But he’s never faced anyone like me. I’m so proud of what we’re doing for the Pacific Northwest.”

Strickland is also involved in a feud with Adam Page, and things took a nasty turn during the recent Blood & Guts event. However, the current World Champion must shift his focus from Page and pay attention to the threat in front of him, Danielson.

He also praised his and Danielson’s heritage from Washington and said:

We’re both from Washington. There’s me and Darby, and I know the people from [indie promotion] DEFY are proud of that, and Bryan Danielson, who has been doing it at a high level a lot longer than us. Now we’re main-eventing one of the bigger shows of the year.”

Both the stalwarts are extremely talented, and while Strickland is an upcoming star, Danielson has already left behind his mark in the industry

Bryan Danielson Details On Neck Issues Ahead of All In 2024

Still suffering from neck issues and requiring surgery, Bryan Danielson recently opened up on his persisting issues. In an interview with Renee Paquette, he shared:

Doc Sampson doesn’t want me to wrestle until Wembley, and that’s actually the harder part. My neck isn’t great [laughs]. So it’s weird because this feels like the biggest match of my career, and there’s this war going on between my mind and my body of what I feel like I can do and what my body is telling that I probably shouldn’t do.”

Expecting to conclude his full-time in-ring career this year, fans can expect a classic encounter at Wembley. Despite missing the previous All In PPV due to a broken arm, Danielson finds himself in the main-event picture this year.
