Bryan Danielson reacted to the recent body transformation of The Rock (real name Dwayne Johnson) and shared his own theories.

The People’s Champion shocked everyone during a recent appearance alongside Emily Blunt to promote his upcoming film The Smashing Machine, in which he plays the role of MMA legend Mark Kerr. He was looking visibly leaner, and it came as a shock to the wrestling world. Known for his fierce workouts and cheat meals, the WWE icon, over the years, has maintained a massive physique.

Speculation indicates that the 53-year-old had lost nearly 60 pounds of muscle, possibly in preparation for his upcoming film roles. Johnson is rumored to be working on a project featuring Emily Blunt, Leonardo DiCaprio, and legendary director Martin Scorsese.

Bryan Danielson’s Reaction To The Rock’s Transformation: “You’re Not So Handsome Anymore.”

Speaking with Jon-Bernard Kairouz, AEW star Bryan Danielson was shown a picture of The Rock and was asked about his thoughts on the matter.

Danielson said that the former WWE Champion looks great and healthier. He continued by theorizing that the loss could be due to some injury or that the most likely reason could be in preparation for a movie role:

He looks great. Yeah, I think he looks great. He might just want to live longer.”
[Host: “That’s true, he might just want to be healthy.”]
“You never know what kind of injuries he has, or because he’s an actor, he could just be getting ready for a role.”
The American Dragon then shared a hilarious observation, saying that due to the weight loss, The Final Boss now appears to have a big head. He asked The Great One sarcastically how it felt to be less handsome. He added that fans would not have noticed this because of how massive the Final Boss was before his appearance change:
Do you know what’s funny? He’s super handsome? Do you know what he looked like to me when I saw the picture in comparison to the rest of his body? Now it looks like he has a big head! Guess what, Rock? You’re not so handsome anymore. How does it feel, I mean, he’s still obviously much more handsome than me, but how does it feel to not be as handsome as you used to be? Take that!
Didn’t it look like a big head? It did look like a big head.”
[Host: “Maybe, we’re just so used to it being in proportion to his like jacked delts?”]
“And it might just be that we never noticed because he was so jacked, he just always had this giant head!”
