Bryan Danielson has wrestled extensively all over the world over the past twenty years. He has competed against many of the biggest stars still active today during both his WWE and AEW tenures.
Since coming to AEW, Bryan has had well-regarded matches with the likes of “Hangman” Adam Page, Kenny Omega, New Japan’s Minoru Suzuki, Eddie Kingston, among others.
But there are only so many different people one person can face before repetition sets in. Bryan Danielson has been a victim of this, as have many wrestlers before him. And yet, the November 30th, 2022 edition of Dynamite will feature something truly special when Bryan Danielson takes on FTR’s Dax Harwood one-on-one.
Huge Bryan Danielson Match Added To Dynamite
Per F4WOnline, Harwood challenged Bryan to a one-on-one match after successfully defending his ROH tag titles (alongside his partner Cash Wheeler) against Top Flight (Dante & Darius Martin) on AEW Rampage.
Bryan and Harwood have teamed together before but they’ve never wrestled as opponents. That tag match took place back in WWE on June 24th, 2019, when Harwood was known as Scott Dawson of The Revival.
Despite not appearing at Full Gear or on the most recent episode of Dynamite, FTR will have their hands full in the coming weeks. They will defend their IWGP Tag Team Championships against whoever wins New Japan’s World Tag League tournament, which is currently underway, at Wrestle Kingdom 17 in January.
As for Bryan Danielson, his future is somewhat more uncertain. He recently made comments indicating he’d “prefer” wrestling only on AEW’s lesser shows so that he’d have less pressure on himself and so that he’d be able to help younger talent.
Also scheduled for that same episode of Dynamite are a promo from AEW World Champion MJF and the third match in the best of seven series between Death Triangle and The Elite.
