Bryan Danielson Discusses Future Of BCC

Bryan Danielson The Blackpool Combat Club trios

Bryan Danielson never wants The Blackpool Combat Club to disband.

The group first formed following the Revolution 2022 pay-per-view, where William Regal made his surprise debut to put a stop to the fighting between Danielson and Jon Moxley.

Following the inclusions of Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta, the group is more dangerous than ever, having increasingly violent matches with The Jericho Appreciation Society and The Elite before more recently targeting The Best Friends in a bloody Parking Lot Brawl.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Danielson discussed how much he enjoys being a part of the BCC, and sees no reason why the group should go their separate ways:

“I love this group. This should be a group that never breaks up. Mox and I have wrestled since the BCC started, we wrestled in the championship tournament [last fall]. That didn’t cause any disturbances in the BCC. That’s the story of the BCC. When the BCC loses, we’ll shake hands and go back to training the next day.”

Despite Regal now no longer being a part of the company, Danielson has revealed that all Blackpool Combat Club members still keep in contact with their mentor.

When Is Bryan Danielson Returning To AEW?

The BCC member is expected to return to All Elite Wrestling in early October. This will, unfortunately, mean that he will not be competing at the 3 biggest shows on the calendar, All In, All Out and Grand Slam.

The American Dragon is currently out of action following a broken arm that was suffered in the main event of the Forbidden Door pay-per-view, where Danielson would defeat Kazuckika Okada via submission.
