Bryan Danielson Comments On AEW Future Following All In Victory

Bryan Danielson has addressed what’s next for him in the wrestling world following the events that took place inside Wembley Stadium.

At AEW All In, Bryan Danielson defeated Swerve Strickland to win the World Championship in front of more than 50,000 fans in London, England. On top of winning the title and getting to celebrate the victory with his family, The American Dragon is also able to continue wrestling as he would have had to retire on the spot if he lost the match to Strickland.

Appearing at the All In press conference with his daughter Birdie, Danielson stated that his only concern was about what happened at Wembley but would be present at the next episode of Dynamite on August 28th:

So I honestly haven’t thought about my future at all past tonight. So I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’ll be there in Champaign, Illinois on Wednesday. Between now and then, we’ll figure it out, and I’m sure I’ll have an announcement then.

In a follow-up question, Danielson was asked if the final match would take place at the WrestleDream pay-per-view in October, which will emanate from the World Champion’s home state of Washington. Once again, Danielson said he would take each day as it comes, especially as his daughter wants him to come home:

Honestly, like I said, I have no [idea]. This was my sole focus tonight, I was really happy with how things turned out and then everything going forward I’m gonna have to think about because, sweet girl, did you want daddy to come home after this? Yeah.
