After two months away from the ring, Bryan Danielson has announced that he has been cleared to compete and will be in action on this week’s Dynamite!
Bryan Danielson hasn’t wrestled since appearing at AEW Double or Nothing on May 29th. On that occasion, the star teamed with Jon Moxley, Eddie Kingston, Santana and Ortiz to take on the Jericho Appreciation Society in a bloody Anarchy in the Arena match.
The star revealed ahead of Forbidden Door that he was not medically cleared to compete in his scheduled match against Zack Sabre Jr., leading to the AEW debut of Claudio Castagnoli in his place.
Now, however, things have taken a much more positive turn. During the AEW panel at San Diego Comic-Con on July 23rd, Bryan Danielson announced that not only is he cleared to return to action, but it will happen on this week’s Fight For The Fallen edition of Dynamite.

The American Dragon will take on the Jericho Appreciation Society’s Daniel Garcia and has promised to “kick his f**ing head in.
“That’s very convenient, so Wednesday I’ll be wrestling Daniel Garcia and I’m going to kick his f***ing head in!”
Beyond the match with Garcia, Bryan Danielson already has his sights set on future opponents. Ahead of the Barbed Wire Everywhere match between Eddie Kingston and Chris Jericho on the July 20th edition of Dynamite, Danielson tweeted he wanted to kick both men’s heads in.
“One of these men takes credit for injuring me and the other one is the man I actually blame for it. Excited to see them destroy each other… and when I get back I’ll kick both their heads in”
Fight For The Fallen will also feature Rush challenging John Moxley for the Interim AEW World Championship and TJPW’s Miyu Yamashita taking on Thunder Rosa with the AEW Women’s World Championship on the line.
