WWE Executive Director Bruce Prichard has given the latest update on the health of Triple H following heart surgery for The Game earlier this year.
On the 8th of September 2021, WWE confirmed that Triple H, also known as Paul Levesque, had undergone a successful procedure after what an official statement from the company called a “cardiac event.”
“Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.”
Almost two weeks following that Triple H released his own statement saying that he was grateful for the love and support he has received:
“I’ve been blown away by the outreach and support from so many people. I’m recovering, doing well, & deeply grateful for all the love in my life. Especially grateful for @ShawnMichaels& all the Superstars & crew @WWENXT! (Steph and the girls loved the snacks!) See you soon”
On the latest edition of Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard [available early and ad-free at AdFreeShows.com] the WWE executive gave the latest update as to The King Of King’s condition and it’s a positive one:
“He is feeling better; he’s coming along good. He’s moving along, man; more power to him!”
There is no timeframe for Triple H to return to his duties at WWE and a recent report suggests that, following his surgery, the former 14-time champion of the world’s in-ring days are over.
