Bronson Reed has been reflecting on his NXT North American Championship defeat to Isaiah “Swerve” Scott.
On the most recent episode of NXT, Bronson Reed looked to defend the title he won on May 18th where he finally vanquished Johnny Gargano inside a Steel Cage.
However, June 29th wasn’t to be Reed’s night.
The match which lasted a little over thirteen minutes saw Swerve’s Hit Row faction try to interfere on his behalf. Reed sidestepped Top Dolla who went crashing through the Perspex barriers at ringside in the Capitol Wrestling Center.
Reed followed up by sending Ashante Adonis crashing over the barrier as well. That distraction proved enough in the end as Swerve caught Reed with a dropkick as he was re-entering the ring. With the big man dazed Isaiah Swerve Scott went to the top rope and delivered a devastating 450 splash to claim the victory and the championship.
Taking to social media after the defeat Reed apologised to his wife, his friends and his fans, before questioning what’s next.
My fans, my friends, my family.
I failed you.

What could be next is a call-up to WWE’s main roster.
Reed, along with Karrion Kross, Scarlett and Shotzi Blackheart have been backstage at recent episodes of RAW and SmackDown.
Last week, Kross and Reed were backstage at both of WWE’s main roster shows. The two men ended up competing in matches on Main Event.
