Bron Breakker Slams “Scumbag” Fans, Claims NXT Title Was A “Curse”

Bron Breakker on NXT

Bron Breakker is over the NXT Title and over seeking validation from the fans. He’s got a new target in mind. Causing as much destruction as possible.

The second-generation star lost the NXT Championship to Carmelo Hayes at NXT Stand & Deliver, having held the gold for the best part of a year. On the following episode of NXT, Breakker turned heel by attacking Hayes and Trick Williams.

Fast forward seven days and it seems that Breakker has no regrets about his move to the dark side. The show opened with Hayes offering Breakker the chance to compete in the main event Fatal-Four-Way match to determine who will face him at Spring Breakin’. Later in the episode, Breakker interrupted a segment with Chase U where Duke Hudson was being awarded an MVP trophy.

Breakker offered Hudson his spot in the Fatal-Four-Way and the pair shook on the deal. The former champion said that he didn’t need the “scumbag” fans before calling the NXT Title a curse. However, just as he went to leave the ring he turned and tried to deliver a devastating Spear to Hudson who moved, leaving Breakker to snap Andre Chase almost in two.

Realising just how close he’d come to disaster, Hudson grabbed his MVP trophy and made a run for it.

Booker T Claims Bron Breakker Match Was Just A “Six Out Of Ten”

NXT announcer Booker T has been critical of Bron Breakker on his podcast in recent weeks, and that continued in his look back at NXT Stand & Deliver. The WWE Hall of Famer said that Breakker’s match with Carmelo Hayes was just a “six out of ten” due to the lack of feeling involved.

Although he did praise the decision to turn the young star heel, believing that the move will help him excel.
