Bron Breakker Distances Himself From Offensive Comments Made By His Father

Bron Breakker on NXT

Bron Breakker has said that a series of offensive comments made by his father Rick Steiner do not reflect what he’s about as a person.

Over WrestleMania 39 weekend, former IMPACT Wrestling star Gisele Shaw said she was repeatedly insulted while attending an autograph signing.

Shaw, who came out as a transgender woman in June 2022, said that she was called “filth,” and a “piece of trash” after being told, “You’re a dude.” The star said she turned around to find that the person hurling the abuse was WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner.

IMPACT Wrestling referee Daniel Spencer corroborated Shaw’s account, describing the incident as “shocking and disturbing.”

Rick Steiner is still yet to comment on the incident, but Bron Breakker has now moved to distance himself from the comments.

Speaking to Phil Strum on Under The Ring, the NXT star said that the comments aren’t a reflection of who he is as a person.

“Yeah, you know, I appreciate the question,” Breakker said. “I can’t speak for my father, but that’s not a reflection of me and who I am and what I’m about.”

Bron Breakker Finds New Lease Of Life In NXT
