Bron Breakker Debuts On Monday Night Raw

Bron Breakker

NXT Champion Bron Breakker made his Monday Night Raw debut on the most recent episode!

After being embroiled in a feud with former World Champion Dolph Ziggler for weeks, Bron Breakker made his debut on Monday Night Raw to team with Tommaso Ciampa and take on the Dirty Dawgs in a rematch from the most recent episode of NXT 2.0.

The dissension between the men first began on the February 8th episode of NXT 2.0, where Dolph Ziggler made a surprise appearance to confront Bron Breakker after the NXT Champion called out Ziggler on social media. That appearance also saw the Dirty Dawg called out by Tommaso Ciampa, as Ziggler was running down NXT and calling it a small time operation.

Tommaso Ciampa has made multiple appearances on Raw in recent weeks, and faced Dolph Ziggler in a number one contender’s match on the February 22nd episode of NXT 2.0. Ziggler was able to defeat the former NXT Champion with assistance from his tag team partner Robert Roode. Ciampa and Breakker teamed up the next week to take on the Dirty Dawgs in tag team action, with Tomasso Ciampa pinning Dolph Ziggler and earning his way into the NXT Championship triple threat match at Roadblock.

Prior to the rematch, Kevin Patrick interviewed Bron Breakker alongside his partner for the night Tommaso Ciampa about the two of them being partners when they’re scheduled to face each other the following night. Breakker said that he was excited to make his Monday Night Raw debut. A video package played before the bout to introduce the NXT Champion to the Raw audience.

In the end, the pair once again worked well together against the former SmackDown Tag Team Champions and secured the victory when Bron Breakker pinned Dolph Ziggler.

Recent reports indicate that crossovers between NXT and Monday Night Raw are set to continue in an attempt to build interest on both programs.
