Bron Breakker has revealed what advice he was given backstage following his main roster debut on Monday Night Raw.
On the March 7th edition of Monday Night Raw, Bron Breakker made his much anticipated main roster in-ring debut. On the night, Breakker emerged victorious alongside Tommaso Ciampa, as the pair dispatched the Dirty Dawgs.
The match completed a whirlwind six months for the young star, who only made his television debut with the creation of NXT 2.0 back in September.
Speaking on One-On-One with Jon Alba, available via AdFreeShows, Breakker reflected on his first night on the main roster. The NXT star said that he was honoured to be part of the show, adding that numerous Superstars had given him lots of little nuggets of advice.
“It was a great experience. I learned a ton of things. Monday night, there is a feeling to it. It’s a unique feeling, just being on Raw. It’s the biggest show. It’s crazy to think I was even part of that, to get to perform, it was such an honour for me to be there. So cool. I got to meet and talk with a ton of the superstars, they gave me all kinds of tips and helps, things they wanted to extend to me to help me be successful. It was a blast,”
When asked whether there was one piece of advice that stood out more than others, Breakker said that he’d been told to smile more.
“Everyone is telling me that. It’s one of those…I’m just not sure I’ve been coached up on that thus far. It’s another thing I have to work on and figure out how to make it my own and make it unique in my own way. I got so many coaching points and things to learn from that experience. So many things I can take away to be part of that.”
From the high of victory on Raw, the following night Bron Breakker lost the NXT Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Tommaso Ciampa and Dolp Ziggler. With Breakker taken out of the equation by Robert Roode, Ziggler pinned Ciampa to win the title for the first time.
