Former Ring Of Honor star Brody King has reportedly signed with AEW.
On the Winter is Coming episode of AEW Dynamite, Malakai Black was shown in a lengthy vignette cryptically revealing more about the House of Black. The clip teased the arrival of a new member, which many believe to be Brody King.
As the show continued it was reported by Cassidy Haynes of Bodyslam.net that King has in fact signed with the company. The report states that “multiple sources” have confirmed that King has signed with AEW. A source revealed that they were told about the deal on Thanksgiving weekend, with the contract being sorted shortly after the news of Ring Of Honor’s hiatus came to light.
Brody King began his career in 2015, before signing with MLW two years later. In the years that followed King became a staple of the independent scene appearing mainly for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Ring Of Honor.
Furthermore, King is currently one half of the PWG World Tag Team Champions alongside Malakai Black.
Speaking in the run up to Winter is Coming, AEW President Tony Khan had hinted that more new signings were on the way, imploring fans to watch AEW’s upcoming shows, commenting that he plans to “remain active” in signing great wrestlers.

Elsewhere at Winter is Coming the long-awaited showdown between AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page and Bryan Danielson finally took place. In the opening match of the night the pair fought their way to a 60-minute draw. In doing so the bout became the longest in AEW history.
After a gruelling match in which both men absorbed a tremendous amount of punishment, Hangman looked to be on the way to victory after hitting the Buckshot Lariat. However, just as he was about to reach over to cover Danielson, the time limit on the match expired. The result means that Danielson remains undefeated, but leaves without the AEW World Championship.
It was also announced that CM Punk will team with Sting and Darby Allin to take on MJF and FTR on a special Christmas episode of AEW Dynamite.
