Brock Lesnar is on a roll just days after his return.
Earlier last year, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a sexual assault and trafficking lawsuit against the promotion’s ex-chairman, Vince McMahon. While the lawsuit compelled him to quit the promotion, soon allegations against Brock Lesnar also emerged. Soon after, all mentions of Lesnar and his scheduled appearances were canceled.
Now, a few days ago at SummerSlam 2025, Lesnar made his shocking return and attacked John Cena. Last seen losing to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam 2025, Lesnar’s return was unfortunately not well-appreciated by several fans and wrestlers alike. However, while the negativity and disgust against Lesnar seem to spread like wildfire on social media, WWE’s merch shop tells a different story.
As per WWE Shop, all three of Lesnar’s newly launched T-shirts are currently among the best-selling apparel on the store. All three of Lesnar’s T-shirt merch currently rank amongst the top six.
While there is an existing feeling of repulsion amongst the fans based on Lesnar’s involvement in the Janel Grant sexual assault lawsuit, The Beast Incarnate’s return has, on the other hand, proved to be a successful business masterstroke. Already causing revenue, fans are yet to see how the promotion executes its upcoming rivalry with John Cena.
