Brock Lesnar’s Insane Eight-Figure Asking Price For Jon Jones UFC Fight Revealed

Brock Lesnar

In the lead-up to UFC 285, Jon Jones caused a stir by revealing that he still holds out hope for a super-fight against Brock Lesnar.

The Beast hasn’t competed in UFC since 2016 when he defeated Mark Hunt. However, the result was overturned when he tested positive for a banned substance. Outside of that, Lesnar hasn’t been a full-time fighter since 2011. The star had previously won the UFC Heavyweight Title in just his third fight with the company defeating Randy Couture.

Meanwhile, after a career full of controversy, Jon Jones became Heavyweight Champion on March 4th when he defeated Ciryl Gane.

It has now been reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that although a bout between Jones and Lesnar remains a long shot it isn’t impossible. Especially if UFC cough-up the WWE star’s monster asking price, believed to be in the region of $10 million.

“Jones was also bringing up Brock Lesnar’s name as the fight he still wants. I guess you can never say never, and I’m sure if Endeavor would match Lesnar’s asking price, he would do it, which is almost assuredly over the $10 million mark. As we saw with the Endeavor financial reports coming out, they can easily afford that and then some, and, in a prior era, that fight would’ve gotten done.”

Who Is Brock Lesnar Facing At WrestleMania 39?

Away from any potential showdown with Jon Jones, Brock Lesnar will be back in action at WrestleMania 39. The Beast will be taking on Omos after reportedly turning down a match with Bray Wyatt. It has also been reported that the match was “pushed through” by Vince McMahon, this is despite WWE previously insisting he has no involvement with creative.

Lesnar’s last WrestleMania appearance came at WrestleMania 38 where he lost to Roman Reigns. In fact, the sure-fire Hall of Famer hasn’t won at WrestleMania since 2018.
