Following much speculation about Brock Lesnar’s future in professional wrestling , Paul Heyman has spoke out about his client’s future with World Wrestling Entertainment and when everyone can expect his return.
On a recent episode of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, ‘The Advocate’ who currently serves at the side of WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, spoke about Brock Lesnar and potential return to the squared circle.
After Heyman ruled out a return to MMA, which had been one of the rumours circulating when it came to Brock’s future, he had this to say about if and when ‘The Beast’ would return to his hunting ground:
“It depends on if there’s a worthy challenger and enough box office appeal. Right now, he’s very happy being a farmer and a magnificent father to his children. However, if there’s something that WWE can offer that intrigues, motivates, or inspires Lesnar, and if the money is right and the business is solid, I’m sure he would be willing to do it. At this moment, it hasn’t happened because it [a worthy offer] isn’t there. Again, the world changes with the snap of a finger. It could be tomorrow when Lesnar says, ‘Oh, that intrigues me.’ Again, its not just a sound byte, but Brock Lesnar does what Brock Lesnar wants to do.”
With Lesnar an official WWE free agent having not been seeded in the recent 2020 WWE Draft along with the likes of Goldberg, John Cena and Becky Lynch, the possibilities are endless when he finally does step back onto WWE’s stage.
Brock Lesnar was last seen on WWE television at WrestleMania 36 when he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre.
