With the 2023 WWE Draft now in the history books, Brock Lesnar remains free to take his cowboy hat and new Undertaker-lite coat wherever he pleases.
Ahead of the Draft, WWE released a complete list of Superstars eligible to move between brands, and on which day they could be drafted. While the omissions of Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss immediately caught the eye of fans, many picked up on the fact Lesnar was listed as eligible for the Draft.
During his “second” WWE career, Lesnar has rarely, if at all, been tied to one brand, with his part-time schedule meaning he tends to pop up at random. However, if fans thought that would be changing in 2023, they were mistaken.
Triple H opened the May 1st episode of Raw and the second night of the Draft by running down how the process would play out. He also explained that in the lead-up to the show Lesnar had renegotiated his deal, meaning he would remain a free agent and available to appear on both Raw and SmackDown.
Although Lesnar is far from being WWE’s only free agent, The Beast is joined by a number of surprising names including Elias, Omos, and now former NXT Superstar Von Wagner.
FREE AGENTS
- Brock Lesnar
- Baron Corbin
- Xyon Quinn
- Elias
- Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin
- Dolph Ziggler
- Omos
- Mustafa Ali
- Von Wagner
Brock Lesnar Brawls With Cody Rhodes On WWE Raw
While their bout at Backlash is only days away Brock Lesnar and Cody Rhodes had no intention of waiting until landing in Puerto Rico to find out who the better man is.
Despite being asked to keep the peace by Adam Pearce, Lesnar interrupted the Draft to come to the ring. The star insulted the crowd before Pearce arrived with a whole load of security. At this, Rhodes’ music hit and he attacked The Beast from behind. The pair were eventually separated.
