Brock Lesnar Engulfed In Controversy After Return As Fan Gets Burned; The Footage Is Shocking

WWE star Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar’s name is being dragged into a controversy after a fan got burned.

Brock Lesnar returned to WWE after two years. His last appearance for the company was in 2023 at SummerSlam when he lost to Cody Rhodes. Since then, the star has been away from the company. However, at SummerSlam 2025, he returned to the shock of everyone in attendance and took out John Cena, his old nemesis, with an F5. This happened right after Cena lost his Undisputed WWE Title to Cody Rhodes in a brutal Street Fight. Just as Cena was about to leave the ring, Lesnar’s music hit. The star hit the ring and took out The Champ with his finishing move.

However, it seems Lesnar’s return wasn’t totally without controversy.

Brock Lesnar’s Pyro Burned A Fan

Following his return to WWE, Lesnar was welcomed with some massive pyro that illuminated the night sky in New Jersey and enamored those in attendance. However, it seems one fan in attendance wasn’t having the best night.

Recent fan footage reveals that a part of Lesnar’s pyro flew into the stands and burned a fan in attendance. It can be seen in the video that among the many flares going up in the night sky, one falls right on a fan, with him legitimately being scared.

The fan was also heard saying,

That s*it burned.”

Lesnar’s next appearance in WWE has not yet been announced. However, John Cena will be in attendance on the upcoming episode of SmackDown as he talks about the aftermatch of The Beast’s return. The star will be looking to address what Brock Lesnar’s return to the company means and when Cena will be able to challenge the star.

Things will get interesting on SmackDown as the two arch-rivals once again come face to face after many years.
